About Illinois Foot & Ankle Clinic

Illinois Foot & Ankle Clinic is a podiatry practice located in Des Plaines, Illinois, with an additional presence in the Highland Park area. The clinic provides medical and surgical foot and ankle care for routine conditions and more complex concerns, including heel pain, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot issues, wounds, fractures, sports injuries, arthritis, and nerve-related symptoms.

Our approach is patient-focused and practical. We take time to review symptoms, explain the diagnosis, discuss realistic treatment options, and help each patient understand the next step in their care. We also accept a wide variety of insurance plans, including PPO and Medicare plans, to help patients access the care they need.

Dr. Nooreen Ibrahim, DPM

Dr. Nooreen Ibrahim, DPM, is a board-qualified podiatrist serving patients in the Des Plaines area. She treats patients across age groups and helps with a wide range of foot and ankle concerns, combining conservative and surgical training to create treatment plans based on each patient’s condition, goals, and daily life.

Dr. Ibrahim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Iowa. She then completed her residency at Wheaton Franciscan/Ascension in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

After years away, Dr. Ibrahim is excited to return to Illinois and practice closer to home. Fluent in Hindi and Urdu, she brings a personal and culturally sensitive approach to patient care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing martial arts, reading, hiking, traveling, and caring for her recently adopted cat.
