Dr. Yanovskiy understands that feet are the foundation of the body, and even before a child takes his or her first step, deficiencies in the feet and ankle create negative effects on the rest of the body and have lifelong implications. Skilled at recognizing and identifying foot ailments in babies and children, Dr. Yanovskiy can help your child deal with concerns before they arise and prevent many issues from developing in adulthood.
How are you specially qualified to treat children?
I have been treating pediatric patients since I began practicing podiatric care. Illinois Foot & Ankle Clinic offers a variety of surgical and non-surgical treatments for our pediatric patients, and I enjoy working with children and helping them maintain foot and ankle health throughout their lives.
I understand that foot and ankle problems can be devastating to my younger patients, and I love allowing them to get back on their feet and move again through treatment.
Do you provide pediatric surgical treatments?
Yes, I offer pediatric surgeries when absolutely necessary. As with all patients, I start with conservative options and recommend surgery to treat the problem if it persists.
If your child suffers from clubbed feet, a birth defect that affects the bones, muscles, tendons, and blood vessels; flatfeet, a complete or partial collapse of the foot’s arch; plantar warts; or any other deformity, I can help.
